Daily Activities for Senior Living Services in Ann Arbor
***The Care Level program is determined by the Wellness Director and is based on many factors specific to each resident and may be interchangeable based on service plan needs.
Care Level 1
- No physical hands-on care
- Verbal direction/cueing with morning and evening dressing
- Verbal direction/cueing with bathing 1 time per week
- Cueing & assistance with sensory devices (hearing aides, dentures, glasses)
- Blood Pressure/Pulse & Weight Monthly in Wellness Fitness Center
- Care-giver removes trash daily, makes bed daily & provides clean towels
***Verbal Direction/Cueing Assistance is characterized by assisting with set-up for the needed service &/or ADL task.
Care Level 2
- No physical hands-on care
- Verbal direction/cueing with morning and evening dressing
- Caregiver physically assists with bathing up to 2 times per week
- Cueing & assistance with sensory devices (hearing aides, dentures, glasses)
- Blood Pressure/Pulse & Weight Monthly in Wellness Fitness Center
- Care-giver removes trash daily, makes bed daily & provides clean towels
***Verbal Direction/Cueing Assistance is characterized by assisting with set-up for the needed service &/or ADL task.
Care Level 3
- Physical hands-on care by a caregiver
- Moderate assistance with morning and evening dressing
- Moderate assistance with bathing up to 2 times per week
- Cueing and assistance with sensory devices (hearing aides, dentures, glasses)
- Toileting assistance and Minimal Incontinence assistance
- Escorts to meals and activities
- 1:1 programming available
- Light – Moderate call light usage. (call-light used 6 times within 24 hours)
- Blood Pressure/Pulse & Weight Monthly / Escort to Wellness & Fitness Center
- Care-giver removes trash daily, makes bed daily & provides clean towels
***Minimal/Moderate Assistance is characterized by assisting with set-up for the needed service &/or ADL, verbal direction/cueing with physical contact for assistance. The Resident is able to bear weight and pivot with the care-giver to and from the destination.
Care Level 4
- Maximum assistance with morning and evening dressing
- Maximum assistance with bathing up to 3 times per week
- Cueing and assistance with sensory devices (hearing aides, dentures, glasses)
- Resident is incontinent and needs total assistance with briefs & toileting
- Resident receives Wellness Checks every hour
- Escorts to meals and activities
- 1:1 programming available
- Resident requires monitoring for Behavior Issues / Frequent call-light usage
- Blood Pressure/Pulse & Weight Monthly / Escort to Wellness & Fitness Center
- Care-giver removes trash daily, makes bed daily & provides clean towels
***Maximum assistance is characterized by the care-giver providing total assistance with ADLs, incontinence and transfers.
