Chef / Cook
Responsible for preparing meats, vegetables, soups, sauces, etc. for the regular and modified resident cafeteria service, as determined by daily production sheets. Keeps work area clean and sanitizes work surfaces. Provide a positive impression of the Dietary Department when serving residents in the dining area and work cooperatively with other cooks and Food Service workers. Also, responsible for the supervision of shift employees in the absence of a supervisor. Works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Food Service.Skills:
Must have knowledge of sanitation requirements and appropriate food handling. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and communicate, respect and cooperate with others working well as a team. Good attendance and promptness in essential as well as flexibility in schedules and assignments. Practice of safety in all areas of the kitchen a must. This includes the ability to work safely around counters and equipment so as to avoid burns from hot water, food and utensils, cuts from knives, and the possibility of injury from falls on slippery floors. High School diploma or equivalent preferred as well as a minimum of one (1) year prior experience in an institutional food service department preferred.
Work Hours: 6am-7pm, Shifts May Vary
Pay Period: 64-80 hours
Part-Time and Full-Time Resident Care Aides (RCAs)
Responsible for residents varied ADLs service levels: scheduled showers, am/pm care, toileting assistance,incontinence care, transfers, escort assistance to meals & activities, engaging nutritional assistance, social activities & behavioral interventions in our 8 and 16 Apartments Memory Care neighborhoods.
Responsible for ensuring & delivering the company's pillars of loving & compassionate care & always enhancing residents self worth, self dignity & sense of belonging within our family community.
We prefer either work experience or personal care experience. We accept CNA's (Certified Nursing Assistant's) but do not require certification.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, push & pull care equipment & carts, ability to mop, sweep, vacuum
Operate lifting/transfer equipment: stand lift, hoyer lift, weight scale, slide boards, etc... We are seeking to hire part time Day and Midnight shift aides! We seek to find the those that are 'career aides' (not a college student) AND college students in the field of healthcare, nursing, medical students & pre PA club students, has a pleasant and upbeat energizing demeanor. Part-Time Dietary Aides
Responsible for following patient menus accurately on the tray make-up line. Also responsible for serving in the dining room (no cooking responsibility).Skills:
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions and be able to interact with patients, visitors and employees in a patient, respectful and cooperative manner. You'll need to work well as part of a team and be able to practice safety in all areas of the kitchen, service area and dining room.
Work Hours: Evenings, 3.5 hrs (perfect after school job!) + weekends
Pay Period: 15-20 hours
Responsible for residents’ medication administration, treatments and daily management of overall health and well-being. Assessment and documentation of any resident incidents, accidents or change of status. Adherence to individual resident service plans. Maintain professional communication with residents’ families. Collaborate closely with physicians to provide continuity of care.Skills:
Must be a licensed nurse in the state of MI, either LPN or RN. Graduate Nurses welcome to apply!
Familiarity with HIPAA required.
Must adhere to 8 rights of medication administration.
Experience using an electronic MAR system.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-oriented environment.
Experience working with individuals who have cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.
